“Lucky Stiff” at Bergen County Players

“Lucky Stiff”
Music by Stephen Flaherty
Book & Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens
Based on a Novel by Michael Butterworth

Shy shoe salesman Harry Witherspoon feels life is passing him by until he gets a will from his millionaire Uncle Anthony, who he's never met. It seems that Anthony is dead, and Harry is entitled to the six million dollars under one condition: that he take the corpse on a vacation to Monte Carlo. If he fails, the inheritance will go to the Universal Dog Home of Brooklyn -- and Harry hates dogs. Naturally, he's followed by a zany cast of characters who will do anything to prove Anthony's a stiff and get their hands on the money.
