"Friends and Relations" is a double bill of plays, integrally related in subject matter, dealing with the needs we have, the fears we have, and the loss of identity which occurs as friends, lovers, wives, husbands, mothers, fathers and children play out their roles. Both plays explore the conventions of society and family; nothing is quite what we expect and as the evening comes to a close the normal order of things has been disrupted and we wonder what is real.
