New Jersey Dramatists (& The Waterfront Ensemble)

New Jersey Dramatists is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing plays from conception to production. Programs include the playlab where fifty resident artists come together each week to read & rehearse new plays by resident and network playwrights -- and our community workshops which are held throughout New Jersey. Over the past five years, we have produced more than 100 new plays in New Jersey and New York, including the Hudson County All Ages Playwrights Festival. The Waterfront Ensemble is our Equity/Non-Equity acting & directing ensemble, which is dedicated to the development and production of new plays. Locations for the playlab rotate.
