is proud to be making his New Jersey directorial debut with Stage East Ensemble. He has worked as a director, actor and stage manager on Broadway, Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway, regionally at the Old Globe Theatre, Shakespeare Festival/L.A., Berkshire Theatre Festival, and Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey, as well as internationally with Peter Sellars' production of THE CHIDREN OF HERAKLES. This past year, he directed WALLY AND THE CHOSEN FEW(Drilling Company - NYC), WHISPER(INTAR - NYC), and RIDERS(American Southwest Theater Company - New Mexico), as well as serving as Assistant Director for MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, starring Dana Delaney and Billy Campbell at the Old Globe Theatre, and assisting collaborators Nancy Harrington and Bill Irwin on THE REGARD EVENING, starring Bill Irwin at the Signature Theatre. Jesse is the Artistic Director for The Alibi Group, where he directed a production of AS YOU LIKE IT and was fortunate enough to meet and work with Evander Duck.
