Evander is the ARTISTIC DIRECTOR, PRODUCER and a FOUNDING MEMBER of the STAGE EAST ENSEMBLE THEATRE COMPANY. He is an actor and a graduate of the AMERICAN ACADEMY OF DRAMATIC ARTS in New York and has studied with Lloyd Richards, former dean of the Yale School of Drama. Producing credits include "Driving Miss Daisy" by Alfred Uhry, "Two Trains Running" by August Wilson,"Female Version of The Odd Couple" by Neil Simon and "A Walk In The Woods" by Lee Blessing. Some of his acting credits include, Troy in August Wilson's "Fences", Duke Frederick and Duke Senior in William Shakespeare's "As You Like It" and Joe in Michael Cristofer's "The Shadowbox". He has performed in new works at the Producers Club and the 78th Street Lab in New York City. Evander has served one year on the board of trustees of the Monmouth County Arts Council. He is a physician in private practice in Freehold, New Jersey
