SuzAnne received her B.A. in Theater from Villanova
University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She studied acting with Lee Strasberg
at the Actors Studio in New York, and was in the MFA program for Acting at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.
She was the co-founder of the Cincinnati Repertory Company and the American Repertory
Theatre of Philadelphia, and served as the Artistic Director for these companies. SuzAnne
was also Director of an Arts Program for disabled children and young adults at the Matheny
School and Hospital. Her book, "Gunsmoke: The Complete History and Analysis of the Legendary Broadcast
Series" (published by McFarland
Press) is in its second printing. She is also consultant for the CBS Columbia House video series on Gunsmoke.
SuzAnne is the co-author of Find Me A Voice,
and author and lyricist of several musicals, including Hyde and Seek and
Immortal Interlude. Her directing credits include 'Night, Mother, Find Me A Voice, Beyond Therapy, A Doll's House,
The Fantasticks, Heartbreak House, Philadelphia Story and Belles
(which was written by Mark Dunn, one of NJ Rep's Playwrights-In-Residence). As an actress,
SuzAnne has appeared in The Importance of Being Earnest, Fallen Angels, Once Upon A
Mattress, Look Homeward Angel, The Miser, The Insanity of Mary Girard, The Seagull, The
Maids, The Stronger, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Mound Builders, The Children's Hour,
After The Fall, and The Killing of Sister George, among others. She is a
member of Actors Equity, BMI and The Dramatists Guild.
