Set and costume design credits: The Little Golden Books National Read-In, an event for 10,000 people at the U.S. Open Tennis Center in Queens, N.Y., directed by Frank Ventura of Cap 21; Tisch Gala hosted by Bill Cosby; and THE PAINS OF YOUTH directed by Barry Edelstein. Set design: IF WE ARE WOMEN, directed by Austin Pendleton at The Williamstown Theater Festival; N.Y.U. productions of A HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN FILM, THE THREE SISTERS, THE PRINCE OF HAMBURG, ANY WAY YOU DESIRE ME directed by Liviu Ciulei. Assistant design credits: Lyric Opera of Cicago and the Acting Company. In addition to set and costume design work, he has also been a props artisan at the Santa Fe Opera for eight years. Mr. Russell has a M.F.A. from N.Y.U.'s Tisch School of the Arts' school of design.
