Ralph has just recently returned back to the acting world after a very long hiatus. He recently just completed filming the movie "By The River Rye," in the summer of 2002, an independent film starring Johnny Grasso and Paul Shields. Ralph portrays a character named Bear. Bear is a fence operator of stolen goods. Says Ralph " It feels great to get back into this business especially after being away from it for so long. Even tough I have roughly only 10 ins of film time in the movie, my character and scenes are quite important to the plot. Johnny Grasso who wrote, directed and is starring in the movie was great to work with. I have to laugh because I always seem drawn to play the bad guy, which of course is quite the opposite of me." The movie is now in post production as of this writing. Negotiations are currently under way as to the distribution of this movie. It is unclear at this time if it will be a theatrical release or video release, or possibly both.

Ralph is currently appearing in the fall of 2002 at the Parsippany Playhouse in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey as Mr. Anagnos in "The Miracle Worker" the story of Helen Keller.
