Magaly Roig Biography

is in her third season with the Festival, and her first season as choreographer. Ms. Roig began dancing at the early age of three, and has dance experience in tap, jazz, ballet, modern, pointe and hip-hop. She has choreographed numerous musicals all over New Jersey, directed and choreographed BLOOD WEDDING and IPHIGENIA at Drew University, both of which were performed at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, and created five major modern dances at Drew. Ms. Roig was commissioned by former Governor Tom Kean to create an evening of dance performed at the baccalaureate services for commencement of the class of 2000.
