Brandon recently moved to NJ from Texas. He greatly appreciates Kym Frank and Brundage Park Playhouse for taking a chance on him and casting him in the role of Chauvelin in the 2002 summer production of The Scarlet Pimpernel. While in Texas, Brandon earned a Bachelor Degree from Texas Tech University in Music with an emphasis in vocal performance. While at Tech, he performed with many former and current Broadway and Opera singers. He was under the exclusive Hewitt Vocal Scholarship and studied voice with widely acclaimed singer/ teacher John Gillas(students include the Met's Bruce Ford, Terry Cook, the Phantom of the Opera's David Gaschen, Beauty and the Beast's Anne Sanders-Oliver) . He was also privileged to work with Dr. Jonathan Marks whose former students while at Yale, included Meryl Streep. Some favorite past roles include Macheath in The Threepenny Opera, Abner Yoakum in Li'l Abner, Strephon in Iolanthe, Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun, Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie, Count Danilovitch in The Merry Widow, Sir Harry in Once Upon A Mattress, and Leon Tolchinsky in Fools among others. Brandon also enjoys teaching voice, coaching music, and he and his wife(actress/ singer/ dancer/ choreographer) Kelly serve as youth minister at the Spotswood Church of God. His life-goal is to make people smile, feel good, and if just for a little while, enjoy this life that we all share.
