Darlene Bowen Biography

She is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts with a degree in theatre. She spent ten years performing Off-Broadway, in soaps, commercials and nightclubs, and was an active member of two repertory companies, all in New York City. She has performed most recently in New Jersey with Plays-in-the-Park, Black River Theatre in Chester and the Watchung Arts Center. Recent roles include Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street, Hannah in California Suite, Baroness in The Sound of Music, Sarah in Quilters and Sheila in Jake's Women. Darlene has also appeared in the soaps, All My Children and One Life to Live. She would like to thank her children and her friends for all of their love, tolerance and support.
