A graduate of New York University's undergraduate drama department, David received his BFA 1988. While pursuing his work as an actor in New York, David also spent two and a half years teaching the Michael Chekhov Technique at the 92nd Street Y in NYC and in Chicago where he lived and worked for three years. While in Chicago David worked with the Cactus Theatre and continuing to both act and teach, David also began writing, and eventually had his work published in Chicago's theatre newspaper PerformInk. Returning to New York in 1994, David became one of the co-founders and Artistic Director of White Buffalo Theatre Company. Of late David has focused his energies more towards his own acting career, yet continues to be active in academia, having taught Theatre Appreciation at Monmouth University in the fall of 2000. David is currently a member of New Jersey Repertory Company, and Tri-State Actors Theater.
