Other memorable directing credits include "Love! Valour! Compassion!", "It's Been Wonderful" for which he recently was the recipient of the 2000 Perry Award for Outstanding Sound Design which was given by R.E.C.T. (Recognition of Excellence in Community Theater); Wilson's "Talley & Son" "A Grand Romance", "Close Ties", "The Curious Savage", "The Haunting of Hill House", "Steel Magnolias", "Crimes of the Heart", and "Picnic". Bill was last seen on stage as Melvin P. Thorpe in the musical "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas", and the contest entry of "Twilight of the Golds".
