He wrote the new songs and arrangements for the recent Broadway revival of You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (including “My New Philosophy” which he wrote for Kristin Chenoweth) and was nominated for a Grammy Award for producing the cast recording. Mr. Lippa is the recipient of the Gilman/Gonzalez-Falla Theater Foundation Award, ASCAP/Richard Rodgers New Horizons Award, the Robert & Adele S. Blank Jewish Arts Award. LUIS PEREZ (Musical Staging) returns to George Street Playhouse after having provided musical staging for the world premiere of the musical The Spitfire Grill. He was choreographer for The Civil War (St. James Theatre, Jerry Zaks director) and South Pacific (Vivian Beaumont Theatre Benefit, Jerry Zaks director).
