Angela Robinson Biography

has performed opposite Ruth Brown in the TheatreFest 1994 production of Ain't Misbehavin' and has gained a reputation as a consummate cabaret performer. On Broadway, she was featured in Play On at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre and regionally played in Twist at the George Street Playhouse, Deena in Dreamgirls at the Paper Mill Playhouse, the Acid Queen in Tommy, as well as roles in The Wiz, Nunsense, Little Shop of Horrors, Beehive and The Harlem Nocturne. A graduate of Florida A & M University, Robinson was featured on television in episodes of Superboy and the Backstreet Video Show.
