Tony Andrea Biography

is in his third year in the M.F.A. set design program at the University of Connecticut. He has designed for the Connecticut Repertory Theatre's The Miser, Iphigenia and their puppet theater's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. For the Sharon Community Theatre he has designed Run for Your Wife, The House of Blue Leaves and A Shayna Maidel. On Broadway he served as assistant designer to John Lee Beatty for the current production of Chicago. He was a selected for the Young Designer's Forum at the United States Institute of Theater Technology and his design for The Miser was chosen for the Design Expo '98 and published in Theatre Design and Technology.
