is a Philadelphian who works as a playwright, actor, and teacher. His full‑length play LaMOURE, ND 58458 won two national competitions and is currently running at Act 11 Playhouse in Ambler, PA. Other of his plays have been seen in Philadelphia, Memphis, Charlottesville, and Los Angeles. As an actor, he appeared on Broadway in Terrence McNally's Tony‑winning MASTER CLASS with both Zoe Caldwell and Patti LuPone. Mr. Friel hold Masters Degrees from Villanova and Temple Universities. He teaches Theatre at Temple and at Burlington County College.
