Her career includes burlesque, vaudeville, Broadway, nightclubs, movies, records, radio, and television. Broadway's The Golden Apple landed her the cover of Life magazine and the hit recording "Lazy Afternoon." Stage credits: Carnival, Cole Porter Revisited, Pirates of Penzance, and Nunsense (1987 Carbonnell Best Actress in a Musical Award), her onewoman show, Hey Ma . . . Kaye Ballard. Discovered by Spike Jones in her native Cleveland, Ohio, Kaye became a household name with her popular television series, "The Mothers-in-Law." Kaye's shared the stage with Mel Torme in PBS's Cole Porter evening at the White House. Film credits include: The Girl Most Likely, The Ritz, Baby Genius, and Victorian Story, to be released. Her new record with Jaye P. Morgan is entitled "Jaye & Kaye, Longtime Friends."
