Frank Messina Biography

is returning to the Guild stage after 15 years of corporate life and backstage involvement. He has been the lighting and set designer of numerous Guild productions. Prior roles include Virgil in Bus Stop, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, Mangacavallo in The Rose Tattoo, Jeff in Brigadoon, and appearances in Paint Your Wagon, Fiddler on the Roof, Carousel, Company, The Sunshine Boys and Fanny. A two-time Guild President, Frank chairs the Project Development Committee that managed the restoration and renovation of our Civil War Drill Hall Theatre, and continues to spearhead the development of it’s expansion, due to break ground this year.
