Carol Straffi Biography

has been performing at PIP since 1979, when she played the Old Lady in CANDIDE. Other roles: Beggar Woman in SWEENEY TODD, Stella in FOLLIES, Mrs. Peterson in BYE BYE BIRDIE, Maggie in 42ND STREET, Yenta in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and Mrs. Paroo in THE MUSIC MAN. Local roles: Reverend Mother in NUNSENSE, and many shows at Celebration Playhouse, including MACK & MABEL, JESUS CHRIST, SUPERSTAR, MAN OF LA MANCHA and TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA. Carol is a 6th grade Language Arts teacher at PS #38 in Jersey City.
