Ross Haines Biography

Ross Haines (S.A.G., A.E.A., A.F.T.R.A.), a Rutgers alumnus and a former U.S. Marine, is happy to work in the Garden State where he was raised. Last year he received an MBA in Dramatic Arts from the Actors Studio at the New School University in Manhattan, where he resides with his wife Laura, and his children James, Santino, and Maria Christina. Ross has co-starred and appeared in over a dozen films. working with Sandra Bullock, Bill Hickey, Peter Greene, and Frank Vincent. Some TV credits include Law and Order, Unsolved Mysteries, NYPD Blue with Dennis Franz, Sex and the City with Sarah Jessica Parker, and Mathnet with Tammy Grimes. In addition, he co-starred with Paulie Shore (MTV) and was the lead in Three Mile Island (CBS). Recent NYC stage credits include Cuba in Cuba and his Teddy Bear, Cabot in Desire Under the Elms (both at Circle in the Square Downtown); In May of '99 he portrayed Tony in Residual Checks (Atlantic Theater). At the Actors Studio, Ross studied with Gary Swanson, Lee Grant, Arthur Penn, Doug Moston, Jan Prokop and William Riley. He studied ballet at Alvin Ailey.
