Susan Barrett Biography

Susan Barrett (AEA, SAG), a native New Yorker, is excited to be joing the New Jersey Repertory Company. She is a member of the Professional Acting Company at the NYU Dramatic Writing Program and has appeared with the 29th Street Rep, the Pulse Ensemble Theatre, the Puerto Rican Travelling Theatre, the Asolo in Florida the Donegal Workshop Theatre in Ireland, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. She also works in Improvisation Sketch Comedy and has appeared in such films as One Fine Day, Step Mom (soon to be released), as well as the television show Soul Man. Susan received her MA in theatre from Leeds University in England and is a member of SAG Book Pals Program where she volunteers her free time to reading to children in the NYC schools
