Paula Mira has been involved with theatre for more than half her life. She began backstage as costumer/prop mistress for the Royale Theatre Guild in 1982. Her husband, with the help of an earthmover, finally succeeded in pushing her into the limelight about a decade later. Since then Paula has appeared in numerous productions throughout the region. Some of her favorite roles have been Elizabeth in “Funny Valentines”, Kilroy in “Don’t Drink The Water”, the dual role of Maudie Atkinson and Mrs. Dubose in “To Kill A Mockingbird”, and Grimes in “On Borrowed Time”. While being very active on stage, she has still found time to work behind the scenes for OTRP by producing and stage managing “The Odd Couple”, lighting for “Brighton Beach Memoirs” and costuming and producing for “Nunsense A-Men”. Paula would like to thank her husband, Bob, who introduced her to the wonderful world of theatre, and her biggest fans, her children, Joe, Danielle, and Bobby, her daughter-in-law, Colette, and her grandson, Joey for their love and support. She would also like to thank M. Lennon Perricone and Debbie Schwartz for the opportunity to bring his vision to life.
