has designed for the Pearl Theatre Company, The Pittsburgh Public Theatre, The Philadelphia Drama Guild, The McCarter Theatre, George Street Playhouse, Studio Arena Theatre, The Pennsylvania Stage GeVa, Syracuse Stage, Actors’ Studio, Two River Theatre Company, Raw Space, and The North Carolina, New Jersey and Colorado Shakespeare Festivals. Opera designs for Central City Opera, The Philadelphia Opera Theatre, Syracuse Opera, Opera Theatre of Rochester, Boston Lyric Opera, The Bronx Opera, The Orchestra of St. Luke’s, Chatauqua Opera, and The Manhattan School of Music. Dance designs for North Carolina Dance Theatre and The Pascal Rioult Dance Theatre. Resident designer for the Missouri Repertory Theatre (1980-84). Principal designer for the Lake George Opera Festival (1995-97). Mr. Feiner has taught at the North Carolina School of the Arts, University of Missouri at Kansas City, and Queens College, where he is presently Chairman of the Department of Drama, Theatre, and Dance.
