John Duryee Biography

John last appeared at WCP in 1997 as Nick in The Sisters Rosensweig. His most recent roles during his more than 20 years as a member of Cranford Dramatic Club have included Mr. Babcock in Mame, Charlemagne in Pippin, Rev. Harper/Mr. Witherspoon in Arsenic and Old Lace, Mr. Keller in She Loves Me, and Col. Pickering in My Fair Lady. His favorite role is Matthew Brady in Inherit the Wind. A retired Cranford Tax Assessor, a church elder and a choir member, John has done lighting at CDC and WCP and served as Treasurer at CDC.
